What happens at the end of the adoption period?

At the end of your adoption term, you’ll have the opportunity to renew your guardianship and continue growing alongside your tree. If you decide not to renew, don’t worry  your tree will remain in our care, continuing to contribute to a thriving, sustainable ecosystem. While updates and harvest rewards may pause, your tree’s impact will carry on  enriching the land, supporting local biodiversity, and doing good for the planet.

If you choose to fully close your guardianship, we’ll share a portion of the final harvest with you as a thank-you for being part of your tree’s journey. This is calculated after essential care and orchard costs and will be sent to you within 60 days of harvest, either as Mytreehood credit or a bank transfer. You’ll be able to see a full breakdown in your dashboard.
